Hunter daredevil stunt pilots soaring overseas

SHARE

After wowing local crowds for many years, a trio of Hunter Valley pilots is set to showcase their awe-inspiring skills overseas.

Paul Bennet Airshows and its famed Australian formation aerobatic team, the Sky Aces, will take part in a string of international shows throughout China and South Korea.

And, the daredevil troupe – featuring Bennet, Glenn Graham and Jesse Jury – are expected to perform in front of more than a million spectators.

On top of that, the main man will also soar in a solo display at each China event in the Pitts S1-11X.

Global invitations to such iconic extravaganzas are a testament to Bennet, who stages the much-loved Hunter Valley Airshow at Cessnock, and the Sky Aces’ exceptional abilities and their highly-regarded position in the aviation community.

“We’re looking forward to the opportunity,” he said.

“But, I am excited to have this chance to represent Australia on such a big international stage… and in front of so many new spectators.”

The Faku International Flight Conference (August 17-20) is a platform that brings together aviation enthusiasts, experts and professionals from across the world to celebrate the artistry and innovation of flight.

And, the 10th edition of it promises “longer duration, wider scope and more highlights than ever”.

Bennet will take to the skies – in his Wolf Pitts Pro – in South Korea for the 16th time in 2023, too.

He remains the only civil aerobatics pilot invited to the immense Sacheon Airshow, which attracts in excess of 600,000 people.

Known for his breathtaking exhibitions and remarkable manoeuvres, Bennet has earned a reputation as a trailblazer in the world of aerial stunts.

“I feel honoured to have been invited overseas again,” he said.
